Shortcut Doctor Main Window

Shortcut Doctor Main Window Fields:

Path Field: Enter the path to search for shortcuts. You may manually enter a path, select a previous path from the drop down list (image\b_drop1.gif), or use the browse button (image\b_path4.gif). The number of items retained in the drop down list is configured under General Options. To search all hard drives on the computer, specify Local Hard Drives (case insensitive) or Lokale Festplatten (German interface users, case insensitive).

Path Browse Button (image\b_path4.gif): Click here to open a select path dialog that can be used to conveniently chose the path to search.

Search subdirectories Field: Check this box if you want to search for shortcuts that are present in subdirectories under the path specified on the path field.

Show All Field: When checked, Shortcut Doctor will display a list of shortcuts found and their integrity after you press the Check Shortcuts button. When unchecked, a brief report will be displayed.

Search Results List: After you click on the Check Shortcuts button or select "Check" under the Actions Menu, your results are displayed here.
